Exhibition Period

From 10am to 6pm between May 14(Wed) and May 26(Mon) except May 20(Tue) which is closed day of the Art Center. Operation hour of the final day of May 14 is from 10am to 3pm.

Ａ. Participation Listing Rules

1. Works

You can display original paintings, sculptures, and dyed fabrics that have not yet been published by yourself. Please do not infringe on the rights of others.

2. Size

Oil paintings and other art materials are to be based on no.20 to no.500, and transparent and opaque watercolor works are to be based on no.20 to no.80. (Over no.80 works will be displayed in oil paintings or other art rooms. The size does not include a frame (a frame must be attached and glass plates on the frame cannot be used). All exhibited works must be within the museum regulations.

3. Number of works

No limitation for all materials.

4. Application fee

1. 11,500 yen for public participants and 13,500 yen for members and friends are applied up to two items per category ( including Exhibition Color Catalogue fee and shippuing fee. But 6,500 yen for those under 25 years of age will be applied. Additional 2,000 yen for each additional item will be applied for all participants regardless of whether a member or a public participant.
2. Please transfer the listing fee by April 10( Thursday) by the enclosed postal transfer.
3. The listing fee will not be refunded for any reason.

5. Exhibition Color Catalogue
(Collection of all works)

1. We will send Exhibition Color Catalogue to all members, friends and general exhibiters.
2. All selected works are listed in color (one per person).

6. Receiving Station

Reception desk of Taiheiyo Exhibition is located at the entrance to the basement 1st floor of the National Art Center, Tokyo. Please unpack the package and bring it in. Packaging materials cannot be carry in.

7. Outsourcing Delivery

Please entrust it to any shipping company if you cannot bring it in directly. The National Art Center, Tokyo will not accept it if you sent it to them directly.

8. Listing Procedures

Please send the application form (postcard) and transfer the listing fee by April 10(Thu) and fill out the entry form (sakuhin hannyuu hyou,　作品搬入表)　enclosed and submit it on May 2( Fri).

9. Others

1. The displayed works cannot be brought out during the ehhibition period for any reason. This society(each department) is responsible for displaying the works and we do not accept any objections. We will pay the maximum attention to the handling of the works, but will not be responsible for any accidental damage. The same goes for local tour exhibitions. If you need insurance for any damage, please pay for it at your own expenses.
   We will mail 20 invitation post cards( for two persons), 20 invitation tickets( for one person) and a complimentary ticket (for the applicant him/herself.)
2. To those who are listing for the first time, this exbition committee requires “pre-registratiom of applicants” for paperwork. Please send us your name, address, telephone number, and date of birth, by letter , fax, or email to the following office. Please be careful not to double-record it as we will give the individual ID number to the registrant and send informations after next following years. If you have not listed for the following exbitions for a certain period of time, we will delete your record. Or if you do not need your registration, please let us know.

B. Judge

1. Inspection

All works will be displayed after fair and strict inspection.

2. Judgement

The judgement will be conducted by selected judges of the organization.

3. Awards and recommendations

We will present each award to excellent works on display and recommend the artist to our member or friends. For even better works, we recommend it to participate to our local tour exhibitions (Fukuoka and Nagoya).

4. Announcement of Selection of Display

We will notify the person of our selection of display or not.
We do not accept telephone inquiries.

5. Awards Ceremony

The ceremony will be held at The National Art Center, Tokyo from 1pm to 3pm on May 14th(Wed) .
Winners will be contacted by mail or telephone from the committee.

C. Carring out

1. Rejected Works

Please present the exhibition deposit certificate (Shuppin Azukarishou 出品預り証) at the Reception desk of Taiheiyo Exhibition located at the entrance to the basement 1st floor of the National Art Center, Tokyo from 10am to 3pm on May 11th (sun).
(Note) The work will be transferred to Okamura Art Transport from May 12th (Mon) . You will be charged a storage fee if you cannot carry it within the deadline (May 11th). Please consult and confirm to each dealer in advance on that occasion.

●Transfer storage　5 days for every work

• Up to No. 100 pantings :2000 yen      Over No.100 pantings: 3000 yen
• Sculpture up to life size:3000 yen      Actual cost for heavy objects exceeding life size

*100 yen will be added for each extra days every day after the 6 th day.

2. Exhibited Works

From 10am to 3pm on May 27th（Tue）, please take it out in exchange for an exhibition deposit certificate at the entrance to the Reception desk of Taiheiyo Exhibition located at the entrance to the basement to the 1st floor of the National Art Center, Tokyo.
(Note) From may 28th (Wed) , we will transfer it to Okamura Art Transport and you will be charged a storage fee. We cannot be responsible for any accidents that occur other than the designated date and time.
